Welcome to the Long Beach Acoustic Musicians/Guitarists.  We are a group designed for those in the long beach and north orange county beach areas who want to get together to play guitar and other acoustic instruments in a group setting.  All skill levels are welcome to our weekly jams.  

For post-beginner guitarists who know some basic chords and want to get valuable ear training while understanding the nuts and bolts of music better. If you've played a little but got stuck or just put the guitar aside for awhile, this group is for you. Meetups will provide instruction on ear training, scales, chords, recognizing song structure, etc. without getting into complicated music theory. Emphasis will be placed on taking what you're hearing and translating it visually to your fingertips …

This group is open to females of any age.  Vocalists, guitarists, and percussionists are especially desired to get together for acoustic jamming and fun in parks. We'll share cover songs but songwriters and any level of musicians including beginners are welcome. Let’s get together to have fun and improve our skills!
