We have 2 professional musicans/instructors who come with their guitars and voices. We meet from usually in the vicinity of Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. The cost is $30 per person per class. This may sound like a lot, but we have great instructors, and the enjoyment and camaraderie make it worthwhile. I just found without the professional leadership the group would get st …

It's more fun to play music with other people - and a lot easier to learn new songs. SongShop is NOT a jam. It's a place to work with other folks and learn new music. A tune you may be working on or one someone else likes. Whether you're a beginner or have been playing for awhile, you are welcome.
This group will meet to practice and play Guitar at Happy Hour. It is for beginners and intermediate players. We'll play along to a list of over 80 songs from beginning to end. I now have around 15 songs written and ready to play but need other musicians. To be specific a drummer, bass player, and possibly another guitarist. I already have some connections for venue promoters so I would want to start playing gigs as soon as possible. I'm excited to meet anyone who joins this group and can' …
